Richard is a patron of the local subway station.

We recorded on February 29th and July 8th of 2016. We didn’t meet to record until a year later on July 28th then August 15th and 31st of 2017.

I don’t know why the fourth recording sounds compressed.

Because of the news the day before the recording, I felt it was necessary to attend a rally and hear what people had to say. This is my first episode in which multiple people are featured.

Just south of Washington Square Park I came across Angel who wanted money for the bus.

Her writing was posted on a pole near Tompkins Square Park. We met in that park.

A folded yellow sign on a table in Bryant Park read “Care to discuss God? Discussion only! No argumentation, please!” Carlos’ sign attracted discussion from the likes of Michael and Neftali.

Josh was by the entrance of my local subway station. We went to a diner.

Taylor is a regular in my local subway station. I pass him on my way back and forth from work. I planned on talking to him for 5 minutes a day every day for a week, but it became a handful of visits over the course of a year. Our third meeting’s recording is chopped up because someone called my phone and I left to get his crumb cake.

The artwork is from February 5, 2017. I went to get him ham, Swiss cheese, and mustard on a roll and a coffee with half and half and 3 sugars. I came back to find his art in place of where he sat.

We met on January 19th, 27th, February 4th, March 1st, and December 19th of 2016.

A man who preferred to go by the pseudonym Gemini was standing by the entrance of my local subway entrance. I don’t remember why the recording was so short, but there was certainly more to ask of him.

I misplaced his artwork. He wrote “I love my son.”

On my stoop was Ted. I got him lunch at my local market. It began to downpour right when we left.

I misplaced his artwork which were his initials; TW, like Tiger Woods’ logo as he said.

Tope and two others were recording a video in Washington Square Park. We met for coffee a week or so later.
